ACERMsi keeps the information needed to support your account.

What we store

Your name, email, phone, preferred contact method, address or location name, company if you give one, and the problem you describe. Your account number is the boundary between accounts. Chat, tickets, and computer records stay with that account.

Sign-in codes are stored as hashes. A code expires in 10 minutes and is marked used after one successful sign-in. We also store the time and IP address when you accept the terms, and the text of chat messages.

If you connect a computer with ACERMsi Hybrid Nexus, we store the computer name, location, hostname, make and model, serial, Windows version, Windows user, local IP, Wi-Fi name, and the results of read-only checks. Approved changes are logged with the result.

Who can see it

Our team can see your account so we can help you. The AI agent for your account can see that account's profile and history. One account's records are not used to answer another account.

How long

We keep account records while the account is open, and the logs that show what changed. This draft does not set a final retention period. An attorney still has to review that.
